The Cross Keys comes highly recommended however the Dunvegan is the place to spend the remainder of the night during a pilgrimage to the Auld Grey Toon and if planned really well there's the possibility of watching David Joy playing the role of Old Tom Morris, the keeper of the greens at St Andrews.
In Godzone they call it a, "Roader" one for the road before the parting of the ways. In Scotland they say let's have, "A wee deoch an doris before we gang away."
A fish and chip shop in Anstruther said to be best in the Kingdom of Fife, perhaps in the whole of Scotland. But alas I'll never know because a bus party beat me to it. Too many for me to wait in line and I must reach Elie and the golf course at Elie & Earlsferry before darkness fell.
